You have asked for a critique, that being said, I will give it a try. I fear it won't mean much because this is my first critique, and you are quite obviously superior to my photographic skills, but here goes, anyway> Your use of depth of field is absolutely correct in this composition>Very tight, which I feel is needed with this subject that is simple in structure. It focuses the viewer's attention to exactly where it needs to be. That is, of course, a fundamental of any visual art form. Your color saturation and contrast are done to perfection, if your intent was to make this appear as a painting. That was my first thought when I saw this photo manipulation. This composition possesses a great Bokeh quality, which really adds to the overall effect of the work. The overall feeling I get when I view this photo is a dreamy visual.
The following is just my opinion, and as I stated before, this is coming from a guy who is below your skill level. To my eye, the crop is just a (very) little off. Seems like too much quiet space on the top and right side of the photo.
The background does have a great Bokeh effect, but it seems a little dark on the right side. This was the only thing that tended to draw my eyes away for the star of the show.
I hope this helps a little.
